Subs and match fees for 2017 season – agreed to retain same structure as 2016:
Annual subscription £100 (full) or £50 (concession)
Match fees £12 (full) or £6 (concession)
Option – £250 covers everything
Tim & Ralph Lane attended.
Match Rules changed for our 3rd XI, so that all matches will be 40 overs limited. We voted against this change.
Captain’s meeting 27 April at Allianz Park, Hendon– one Captain must go minimum
Registration – all players must supply their date of birth in order to be registered to play in the league.
Tim Lane and Mike Sibley are leading on this – should 1’s be in promotion place at end of season it is a requirement to have Clubmark for the promotion to be approved by the league. We are registered (Herts and ECB know this) but scheme is being reviewed so we are waiting to hear what the new Clubmark requirements will be.
Tim – volunteers needed for working party over the weekend of 22 & 23 April, starting as near 9am as possible each day but latecomers might still get a Tim Lane Special Bacon Roll. Jobs include screens to be cleaned and painted, leylandii to be cut back/down. On 22nd there could be a net at the end of the working party.
Tony Palmer kindly volunteered to help Rick pull the goals up. Other work might be necessary by volunteers pre-season.
Jewson’s trade card – Tim has put £50 on this and signed us up, club can spend £300 with this (£250 free top-up). Thanks to Tim.
Brad – 29th = Cockfosters Home (1’s) and Away (2’s) 1pm start 50/50 overs.
2 September = last league game and final game of season
Mid-week – we will try to get a club game and Les Williamson T20 in same week.
Very full fixture list for the ground (both squares), with various hires in place.
Indoor nets end 20 April, which could be outdoors instead if conditions are friendly.
Strong recruitment at 1’s/2’s level – no overseas player. All to keep trying to recruit to all 3 teams.
Changing area renovations – the Association has achieved match funding from the Amateur Football Association to renovate the changing areas. Works are due to start on 4 April and to take 12 weeks. Works to take place all week, returned to use for weekends, with temporary structures on tennis courts that we will use but not opposition. Works include new heating, flooring, showers, ventilation, knocking through referee’s changing room.
ACTION: Tim to email league to let our oppositions know and to let all hiring clubs know.
