Old Owens Cricket Club Tour to Norfolk – 27th May 2018
OLD OWENS CRICKET CLUB will again be touring Norfolk in 2018 from the 27th May to the 29th May. The party will again be based at the Wensum Valley Hotel and Golf Club and will play Reepham & Salle C.C. on Sunday 27th May , the team that is associated with Old Owenian and former player Jim Everton and former P.E. Teacher at the School and former Owens player Peter Salisbury. After the game festivities will commence at the ‘Kings Arms’ pub in Reepham which was owned by Peter
The game against Great Witchingham Cricket Club on Monday 28th has been cancelled, so some of the party will be playing golf and the rest of the contingent will have a ‘Leisure Day’ either inside the Hotel Leisure complex or outside the Hotel in the surrounding countryside. The party will return home on Tuesday 29th May under their own volition.

The match result against Reepham & Salle was as follows:
Reepham & Salle won by 65 runs.
Old Owens won the toss and elected to field.
Reepham & Salle scored 181-2 (35 overs) with Old Owens replying with 116 all out (33.5 overs).
