FA Community Shield – Sunday 16th August 2026
On Sunday 19th July 2026 will be a Presidents Cricket Match consisting of a mix of past and present Old Owens cricket players. The match will commence at 1.00 pm at Old Owens Ground.
Other activities on the day will include a BBQ starting at 5 pm, a raffle plus the Bar will be open for refreshments.
At 8 pm the World Cup Final between Argentina and Spain will be screened in the Clubhouse.
Prior to the Presidents Cricket Match there will be a first fixture for Old Owens junior Girls U11 team against Hertford U11 Girls team. The match starts at 10 am.
On Saturday 13th June join us for “An Evening With Sir Curtly Ambrose & Courtney Walsh” in association with Lashings World XI and our event sponsor Gilberts Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers of St Albans.
VIP tickets are only £50 for a place on a top table, near the stage. Complimentary drinks and food are included in this package.
Standard tickets are only £25 for a great view. Food and drinks will be available to buy on the night.
We will also raise as much money as possible for the charities that Lashings works so hard to support!
For all cricket lovers this will be a truly unique, fun and memorable evening. We cannot wait to see you!
