Club Manager
Sian Clampitt (see above) is the new Club Manager who has taken over management of the Clubhouse on the 1st September 2025 from John and Lynn Clark.
Sian has over 10 years management experience within the hospitality industry, specializing in leadership, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. She has been based in Potters Bar for a while and has recently been a manager at the Strafford in Potters Bar and the Robin Hood (McMullens) in Botany Bay with great success in the running of both.
Sian is keen to organise and have various events to increase footfall and revenue in the Clubhouse with new and exciting ideas week in week out and is fully conversant with using Social media to achieve her aims.
Sian quoted “With a decade of experience in running successful pubs, I bring along a wealth of knowledge and strong leadership skills to my new venture at Old Owens. After years of honing my expertise in hospitality, I am now focused on blending my passion for people, the community and business growth in a family-friendly environment.
Having stepped back to enjoy motherhood after the birth of my daughter in 2022, I am now excited to return to the industry with fresh energy and vision. I look forward to welcoming you all to Old Owens and have every belief it will be a success”.
